Portfolio 3

This is a country style demo that tells a story about a woman who is recalling memories from her past when her mother was alive and how she has found peace with it. This is the updated lyrics and slight changes to the structure of the song. I hope everyone enjoy the demo.

I started with a title, my class had to develop song title ideas with a small description of what the song was about. From there I was able to pick a listing and get started on creating the lyrics to the demo. After reading the corresponding chapters for that week, I sat down to write the first and second verse, plus the chorus. I knew I wanted it to rhyme, and that it needed to have a country twang to it. So from there I found words that rhymed and brought out my country accent. From there it was good, but not demo ready. So I had to tweak the first verse, put in a turnaround and a bridge, change the Logic Pro X "Acoustic Guitar" for the Komplete "Acoustic Guitar" plugin, and change one line from the second verse and the bridge to have the close to finish product we have now.
